Our Activities

FoNIBIB develops resources to help the community engage with the institute and raise awareness of its impact, including a directory of Program Directors, upcoming events, and news and highlights.

FoNIBIB engages policymakers and congressional staff through NIBIB campus visits featuring technology demonstrations, laboratory tours, and grantee presentations, as well as briefings and roundtables connecting participants with scientific experts.

FoNIBIB engages the bioengineering and biomedical imaging community through advocacy campaigns, social media, and regular updates to highlight the impact of NIBIB-funded research and strengthen support for the Institute.

FoNIBIB convenes meetings between its member organizations and NIBIB leadership to discuss the latest advances in biomedical imaging and bioengineering research, upcoming research priority areas, and future initiatives.
